My book is The Sign of the Beaver. The setting in this story is mostly the forest. Matt's dad drops Matt off in the middle of the forest in the North. Matt meets and Indian when he jumps in the pond when he got stung by 100 bee's. The Indian guides Matt through the forest so Matt doesn't get lost.
