Thoughts about Novel

Now that you have finished reading your novel, what did you think about the story? What did you like and why? What was your favorite part and why?

Remember to identify the title of your book in your response. Write complete sentences. Explain your thinking. Prove your thinking by identifying text in the story.

My story was Bridge to Terabithia. When I was finished reading the book I felt sad because one of the main charaters "Leslie" died. But I felt happy that "May Belle" the king's younger sister was made queen at the end of the last page.

My story was Summer of the Swans. When I first got the book i was not so sure I would like it. But now after I read Summer of the Swans it is one of my favorite books. One of my favorite parts was when Sara and Joe Melby found charlie in the woods. I liked it because it was a very happy ending. Cause they had just found charlie after him being lost for a couple days.

My story is The Summer of the Swans. At first when I started to read the book I thought the book was terrible but as I got to the middle I started to like the book because the book had action and some emotional parts. One action part was when aunt Willie (Sara, Wanda and Charlie's aunt) came outside because Wanda was about to ride a motor scooter which aunt Willie thought was a motorcycle because she had never rode a bike or scooter. So here comes aunt Willie with her dish cloth comanding Frank and Wanda to stop the scooter.

Kittycat100,
I did enjoy reading this book. It had a lot of different moods and thoughts. I would definetly recommend this book to a friend. If they saw the movie the book is completely different from the book.

kittycat100, some emotional parts are when Charlie was just found and everyone was so happy. Even Sara was even though her summer had been a terrible time.
