The character trait that best describes Jack is intelligent. Jack is intelligent because he goes to the shelter to get his new yellow dog. That is smart because that dog could be killed if someone does not pick it.In the book it says "as if he were saying Me me me! Choose me! and we did. We chose him." That is also intelligent because he is interacting with his dog and his dog might get along with him because they are so much alike.
jack. Jack is very enthusiastic if he doesn't have good details in hhis writing he thinks of somthing with good details so he can get a better grade. Jack probobly has bad grades so he gets insperation from other poems so he can get a good idea of a good poem in this case jacks insperation is Mr. Walter Dean Myers. jack loves Mr. Walter Dean Myers and always will this is why I pick jack as my charecter!
Jack is very creative when he uses good poems no matter how the poem is written if its rhyming or a hiku etc. When Jack wrote the note to Walter Dean Myers the poem that was in the envolope said ''Love that dog, like a bird loves to fly I said love that I love that dog like a bird loves to fly love to call him in the morning love to call him hey there sky''. That poem is very similer to walters because his is ''love that boy like a rabbit loves t run I said I love that boy like a rabbit loves to run love to call him in the morning love to call him hey there son! That shows that Mr. Walter Dean Myers gave alot of insperation to Jack and it shows Jack loves Mr. Walter Dean Myers poetry!
